The Faculty of Humanities and Liberal Arts at Rabindranath Tagore University was established to provide candidates with specialisation in the field of humanities and liberal arts, which has a never-ending demand for programs. The Faculty of Humanities and Liberal Arts offers an MA (Master of Arts) in various areas of knowledge, viz. English Literature, Sociology, History, Political Science, Psychology, Economics, Hindi, Sanskrit, Social Work, and Dramatic Arts. The two-year MA (Master of Arts) programme is a specialised course in which students are offered in-depth knowledge of the discipline they have selected. The MA (Master of Arts) programme is based on the Teaching Hospital Model, which bridges academia and industry collaborations. Hence, the department conducts various field projects, case studies, training, and industrial visits to offer the students real-life exposure and experience. All the activities organised by the department are directed towards the overall growth of the students.
